Lillian Diggs Petteway

Funeral service for Lillian Diggs Petteway age 92 of 300 Coggins Rd, Walstonburg will be held Sunday at 2:30 pm at St. Delight Missionary Baptist Church 341 Speights Bridge Rd, Walstonburg. The Rev. Jeffrey Simms will be the eulogist, and Rev. Hubert Tyson will preside. Interment will follow in St. Delight Cemetery, Walstonburg.

Loving memories are cherished by her daughters, Grace Hardy of Farmville, NC, Katie Holmes (James), Geraldine Barnes and Vernestine Pettaway all of Walstonburg, NC; her sons, Jerome Pettaway (Patrena) of Walstonburg, NC, Billy Pettaway of Farmville, NC and Willie Pettaway (Linda) of Snow Hill, NC; three isters, Louise Simms (Steve) of Lucama, NC, Arbor Fox (James) of Ayden, NC and Mildred Hodge of Bailey, NC; twenty-seven grandchildren, fifty-two great grandhchildren, forty-one great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Saturday from 2 pm to 5 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 pm to 8 pm at St, Delight Church. They will receive friends at all other times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
