Linda Faye Dunn Hunter age 56 of 603 Lasalle Ave, Apt. 11, Hampton, Virginia formerly of Wilson passed away on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 at her residence.
Linda was the daughter of Arthur Dunn and Hattie Lee Ellis. She served our country faithfully for eight years in the United States Army.
Left to remember her with love are her father and stepmother, Arthur and Ernestine Dunn of Sims, NC; her sisters, Diane Joyner (Elder Dennis) and Yvonne Dunn (Josh) of Sims,NC, Ruth Isler (Tim) of Stantonsburg, NC and Wanda Young of Jacksonville, NC; her brother, Jonathan Darden of Sims, NC; ten aunts, eight uncles, two great aunts, six nieces and two special nieces, Natalian Deans and Shavondra Batts; six nephews and two special nephews, Travis Dunn and Chris Dunn; six great nieces, four great nephews, a host of other relatives and friends, including two special friends, Gloria and Tina.
A viewing will be held Tuesday from 3 pm to 8:30 pm at Carrons funeral Home with the family receiving friends there from 7 pm to 8 pm. They will receive friends at other times at the residence of her sister and brother-in-law, Elder & Mrs. Dennis & Diane Joyner 8637 Healthy Plains Church Rd, Sims and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
