Linda Kay McEachin age 59 of 931-B South Main St,Ste 338 Kernersville, North Carolina formerly of Wilson passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Wilson Medical Center.
Linda was the daughter of Herman and Sally Bowden. She received her education in the Wilson County Public School System graduating in the class of 1969.
A loving wife and devoted mother, Linda had a calming spirit that could ease any pain. She will always be remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Her memory lingers in the hearts of her daughters, Stephanie Riggins (Brylan) of Chesapeake, VA and Amtwanette McEachin of Norfolk, VA; her sons, Tony McEachin (Kesha) of Winston-Salem, NC, Cornelius McEachin (Zinzi) and Andrew McEachin of Atlanta, GA; her mother, Sally Bowden of Wilson, NC; six grandchildren, Jaylan N. Riggins, Jordan K. Riggins, Sade O. McEachin, Taylor R. Watkins, Lidia K. McEachin and Olivia S. McEachin; her sisters, Annie Doris Gilchrist, Regina Woodfolk, Mary Bynum (William), Shirley Honey (Linwood) all of Wilson, NC, Loretta Gonsaves (Earl) of Providence, RI and Barbara Witherspoon of Sharpsburg, NC; her brother, Maurice Bowden of Rocky Mt, NC; a special nephew and special niece whom she resided with, Kevin and Gladys Bowden of Wilson, NC; a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A service celebrating her life will be hed Thursday at 1 pm at Christian Fellowship International Ministries. The Rev. Leonard Smith will officiate. Private interment will be held at a later date.
A viewing will be held Wednesday from 5 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12 noon to 1 pm at Christian Fellowship International Ministries. They will receive friends at all other times at 3604 Wilshire Dr, Apt. 5, Wilson, North Carolina and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
