Louise Gunter Frazier

Funeral service for Louise Gunter Frazier age 48 of 1801 Birchwood Dr, Wilson who died Sunday, November 20, 2011 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill will be held Sunday, November 27, 2011 at 2 pm at Mt. Zion Original Free Will Baptist Church 305 Lane St, Wilson. The Rev. Calvin Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Louise was the daughter of the late Ivory and Shirley Gunter. In her early years, she and her family migrated to New York City, NY where she received her education.
Realizing a need for a supreme being in her life, Louise joined By Faith Church in 2008. She served faithfully on the usher board. Her passionate spirit will be dearly missed by those who loved her.
Left to cherish loving memories are her husband, Edward Frazier of the home; her daughters, Doris Gunter of Washington, DC and Olivia Frazier of the home; five sisters, Sheryl Gunter, Elouise Gunter, Rita Gunter,Kimberley Lindsey and Helen Gunter all of New York City, NY; her brother, James Harrington; three grandchildren, sixteen step grandchildren, four aunts, Shirley White, Bessie Mae Nelson and Alberta Hardy; two uncles, Arvis Nelson and Albert Nelson; one sister-in-law, Nancy Frazier; two brothers-in-law, William Frazier and Daniel Frazier;a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
