Margie Mincey Hargett

Funeral service for Margie Mincey Hargett age 96 of 616 Tuskeegee St, Wilson who died Saturday at her residence will be held Saturday at 1 pm at St. Rose Church of Christ Disciples of Christ 605 S. Douglas St, Wilson. Apostle Leroy Hargett will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Margie was the daughter of the late Jack and Olivia Mincey. She worked faithfully for many years at Tobacco Processors as a nurse's aide.

Accepting Christ early in her life, she became a member of Lofton Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church. Her memory and legacy will live forever in the hearts of all who knew her.

Survivors are her daughters, Goldie Fields and Evelyn Jordan of the home and Eleanor Anderson of Wilson, NC; her sons, Ralph Hargett (Margie), Bobby Ray Hargett (Teresa) and Harold Hargett (Melvadean) all of Wilson and Charles Hargett (Shirley) of Westbury, NY; onesister, Susie Mae Howell of New York, NY; one sister-in-law, Ann Mincey of Bronx, NY; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildre, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 8:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home with the family receiving friends there from 7 pm to 8 pm. They will receive friends at other times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
