Marion Beatrice Bell Avent, 88, of 3000 Jason Drive, passed away Monday, May 2, 2016. Homegoing service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Westside Church, 2464 Benvenue Road, Rocky Mount. Interment will follow in the Gardens of Gethsamane, Rocky Mount.

A viewing will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Carrons Funeral Home, 325 E. Nash St., Wilson.
