Memorial service for Marvin Alex Thomason age 63 a resident of Avante at Wilson who died Sunday at Wilson Medical Center will be held Wednesday at 2 pm at Carrons funeral Home. Bishop Willie Thomas will officiate. Private interment will be held at a later date.
Marvin was affectionately known by family and friends as "Bobby" or "DidiRae".
He leaves to chersih loving memories his mother, Odelle Earp of Wilson; his sister, Alice Ruth Barnes (Matthew) of Wilson; three brothers, Ned Harris (Lizzie) and Leroy Harris (Carolyn) both of Wilson and Bealston Thomas (Vera) of Rocky Mt, NC; fifteen children, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the residence of his mother, Odelle Earp 625 Suggs St, Wilson. They will assemble at the funeral home at 1:15 pm in preparation for the service.
