Mattie Barnes Renfrow age 77 of 5133 London Church Rd, Elm City, North Carolina was called home to eternal rest on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the Tarboro Nursing Center. Funeral service celebrating her life and legacy will be held Sunday at 1 pm at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle 1800 Lane St, Wilson, NC. The Rev. Anthony Cox will deliver the eulogy, and Rev. Roderick Tillery will preside. Entombment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson, NC.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 1 pm to 5 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 pm to 8 pm at Johnson Chapel Church 317 Beauvue Rd, Elm City, NC. They will receive friends at other times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
