Mattie Ruth Bullock Tyson

Funeral service for Mattie Ruth Bullock Tyson age 83 of 1800-K Fountain Dr., Wilson, who passed on Friday< June 15, 2012 at Wilson Medical Center, will be held Friday, June 22, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Evening Lights Holiness Church, 208 S. Pender St. Wilson. Elder Ernest Ray Melton will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Loving memories are cherished by her daughters, Thelma Wynder (Enos) of Washington, DC, Jackie Simms (James) of Bladensburg, MD, Sylvia Tyson, Shelby Pegues(Willard),Brenda Tyson of Wilson, NC, Tracy (Kenneth) of Maryland and Tammy (Ben) of Knightdale, NC; her sons, Jessie Tyson (Daphine) and Scott Tyson of Wilson, NC; three foster sons, Tommy Lee Barnes of Wilson, NC, David Tyson of Spring Valley, NY and Larry Tyson (Tina) of Newark, NJ; fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two sisters, Cleo Best of Wilson, NC and Delois Melton of Spring Valley, NY; one brother, Wilber Bullock (Annie) of Sneliville, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held on Thursday from 5 pm to 8:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home with the family receiving friends there from 7 pm to 8 pm. The family will receive friends at all other times at the residence and will asssemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
