Funeral service for Mervis Jennette age 65 of 209-E Hill St, Wilson who died Tuesday, Dec. 21 at his residence has been postponed to Tuesday at 12 noon at Carrons Funeral Home. Dr. Leecie Edwards will officiate. Private interment will be held at a later date.
Mervis was affectionately known by family and friends as "Merv".
Left to remember him with love are two daughters, Sharon Renee Jennette of Durham, NC and Aleta Jennette of Brooklyn, NY; one son, Kerry Williams of Wilson; four sisters, three brothers, a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at all times at the residence of his siter, Johniece Edwards 3501 Senior Village Ln, Apt G3 Wilson. They will assemble at the funeral home at 11:15 am in preparation for the procession.
