Michael Scott Williams

July 8, 1968 — September 26, 2010

Funeral service for Michael Scott Williams age 42 of 1103-E First St, Wilson who died Sunday at Duke University Medical Center, Durham will be held Saturday at 1 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. Rev. Rondric Coppedge will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Delight Cemetery, Walstonburg.

Michael was reared by his grandparents, the late Leroy and Elma Williams. In 1988, he graduated from Greene Central High School, Snow Hill, NC. Michael was employed with Linpac Industries and Skills Creations in Wilson.

Left to remember Michael with love are his mother, Beulah Williams of Wilson; his father, John A. King (Shelia) of Brooklyn, NY; three sons, Brandon Christian Horne, Tyler Scott Williams both of Wilson and Justin Phillips Horne of Elizabeth City, NC; mother of his children, Ivey Horne of Wilson; two sisters, Jacquelyne Rogers of Wilson and Kimberly Harley (Michael) of Brooklyn, NY; five brothers, Fabian "Mel" Williams (Shamika) of Greenville, NC, Ricky "Rick" Williams and Timothy Rogers both of Wilson, Kenneth King and Kelvin King of Brooklyn, NY; several aunts, uncles,four nieces, ten nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at all times at 1600 Dartmore Dr, Wilson and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
