Minnie Ruth Wilson

Minnie Ruth Wilson age 79 of 1000 Tarboro St, Rocky Mt departed this earthly life on Friday, Feb. 25 at the Wilson Medical Center. Funeral service celebrating her life will be held Saturday at 1 pm at Bread of Life Family Worship Church. Dr. Amanda Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Wilson, her former husband, Price Glenn and her son, Curly Hunter.
Loving memories are cherished by two daughters, Janet Baskerville (Tyrone) of Wilson, NC and Cathy Batts (William) of the home; her stepson, Ronald Wilson of Wilson, NC; one sister, Evangelist Louise Jackson of Newark, NJ; eight grandchildren, Lazenevou Bastien, Santa Car (Marcus), Joy Bastien, Milton Boyce, Timothy Bastien (Lateshia), KaiRashia Boyce, Christopher Bastien and William Batts, III; sixteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Margaret Glenn; a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 8:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends there from 7 pm to 8 pm. They will receive friends at all other times at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. Timothy Bastien 6819 Gayle Ct, Lucama and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
