Moses Ellis, age 83 of 1046 Quebec Place NW, Washington, DC formerly of Wilson, NC passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. He was the son of the late Benjamin Ellis and Lizzie Simms Ellis.
A celebration of his life will be held Sunday at 2 pm at St. Paul Church of Christ 4139 Frank Price Church Rd, Wilson. The Rev. Julius Hunter will be the eulogist, and Dr. James Artis will preside. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 3 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 5371 US Highway 301 South, Lucama, NC and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation fot the funeral procession.
