Overseer Robert James Jacobs age 86 of 10301 NC Highway 43 North, Rocky Mount, North Carolina passed on Saturday October 18, 2014. Overseer Jacobs was the son of Clarence Jacobs and Ora Lee Rogers.
A service of triumph will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11 am at Evening Lights Holiness Church 208 S. Pender St, Wilson, NC. Bishop Oried Graves will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Pastor Carrie Lee Jacobs. A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 8:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday at Carrons Funeral Home form 7 pm to 8:30 pm. They will receive friends at other times at the residence and will assemble there at 9:30 am in preparation for the funeral procession.
