Mr. Purvis Pate, Jr., age 80, of Wilson transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. A private funeral service for family will be held.

A public viewing will be held Wednesday from 4 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 South Tarboro Street, Wilson.
