Funeral service for Robert Augusta Thompson, Jr. age 72 of 120 Powell St Se, Wilson, North Carolina who passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 2 pm at Rest Haven Cemetery Wilson, North Carolina.
Robert was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Helen Deaver Thompson and the late Robert Augusta Thompson, Sr. He was reared in Richland, North Carolina where he was employed as a blow molder. Robert migrated to Wilson, North Carolina and became employed with the Willow Springs Country Club. His loving and caring spirit will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A viewing will be held Friday from 5 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
