Memorial service celebrating the life and legacy of Mr. Roger Lee Samples will be held Thursday at 1pm at Carrons Funeral Home. Minister Billy Toler will officiate.
Roger was the son of the late Nellie Marie Haught. He served our country faithfully in the United States Navy.
Precious memories are cherished by his daughters, Tammy Duarte, Lora Hindsley and Sherry Ferrell; seven grandchildren, Gelbert Lee Duarte, Christopher Duarte, Madison Hindsley, Kimberly Cheppard, Laura Sheppard and John Glenn Howland; his brothers, Stephen Ward and Tommy Ward; two aunts, Alverta Davis and Carolyn Walter; a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at 4503 Lennox Dr, Wilson from 2 pm to 4 pm immediately following the service.
