Ronald Lee "Big Jim" Barnes

Ronald Lee Barnes affectionately known to family and friends "Big Jim" passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012. Big Jim resided at 504-A Park Ave, Wilson.
The son of Hattie Mae Graham Barnes and the late Robert Lee Barnes, "Big Jim" was born in Washington, DC.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 1:30 pm at Simon Grove Holiness Church 4334 NC Hwy 42 East, Wilson. Bishop Herbert Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.
His memory is cherish by his mother, Hattie mae Barnes of Wilson, NC; his sisters, Sylvia Frieson and Inez Shirley of Wilson, NC; his brothers, Donald Ray Graham of Upper Marlboro, MD, Marvin Barnes of Lucama, NC and Alexdia Barnes of Wilson, NC; his wife, Jennet Barnes of Wilson, NC; a six aunts, four uncle, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at all times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
