Roxanna Johnson Campbell

Funeral service for Ms. Roxanna Johnson Campbell age 93 of 627 East Hargett St, Raleigh, North Carolina formerly of Wilson who died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Wake Medical Center will be held Saturday at 11 am at Feel Free Church Ministries 3540 US Highway 301 North, Wilson, North Carolina. The Rev. Anthony Cox will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Affectionately known as "Mana" to family and friends, Roxanna was the daughter of the late James Henry and Carrie Johnson. She was married to the late Luther Campbell who preceded her in death.
Mana was a loving, caring and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will always be remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Loving memories are cherished by her daughters,LaVonne Campbell and Nebraska Campbell of Bronx, NY; her son, Charles A. Campbell of Wilson, NC; her sister, Katie Wilson of Raleigh, NC; four grandchildren, Vernon B. Campbell, Renee' Charleswell (Max)of San Antonio, TX, Sharon Pierce (Jimmy) of New Jersey and Kim Campbell of New York; one son-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be Friday from 2 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 4116 Raven Ridge Rd, Wilson and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
