Teresa Bridgers Bullock was born May 4, 1955 in Wilson, North Carolina to Sherman James and Allie Mae Barnes Bridgers. On Sunday, February 17, 2013, God in His infinite wisdom called her home to eternal rest.
Teresa was employed with the Wilson County Public Schools where she worked as a teacher assistant at Winstead Elementary School. Believing in the Lord, she joined Piney Groves Free Will Baptist Church in Wilson, North Carolina. She was a faithful member until her health began to fail. Her sweet gentle kind spirit will be missed.
A service of triumph will be held Saturday at 1 pm at Feel Free Church Ministries 3543 US Highway 301 North Wilson, North Carolina. Minister Margaret Spell will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Loving memories are cherished by her husband, Harold Eugene Bullock of Wilson, NC; her daughter, Tonya B. Cooper (Dionysus, Sr.) of Wilson, NC; her son, Ashley E. bridgers (Gayle) of Charlotte, NC; her mother, Allie Barnes Bridgers of Wilson, NC; two sisters, Nannie B. Smith (Pastor Robert Smith) and Jennifer B. Bagley (Jimmie) of Wilson, NC; two brothers, William Earl Anthony Bridgers of Wilson, NC and Timothy Bridgers (Pastor Terry Ann Bridgers) of Elm City, NC; four grandsons, Dionysus "Boo" N. Cooper, Jr. and Malcolm Malik Cooper of Wilson, NC, Greyson Miles Blount-Bridgers and Kinson Gray Bridgers of Charlotte, NC; four aunts, four uncles, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including a special friend and caregiver, Bertha Farmer of Wilson, NC.
A viewing will be held Friday from 4 pm to 8:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home with the family receiving friends there from 7 pm to 8 pm. They will receive friends at other times at the residence, 1714 Meadowbrook Ln, Wilson, North Carolina and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
