Tracy Hairston, son of the late Charles and Naomi Hairston was born February 2, 1959 in Wilson, North Carolina. He was called home to his eternal rest on January 9, 2013.
A loving, caring and devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Tracy was a memberof New Life Rock of Ages Christian Center in Wilson, North Carolina. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Precious memories are cherished by his daughters, Tracey Evans, Shekeila Page and Ashley Harris all of Wilson, NC; his son, Terrell Harris of Wilson, NC; stepdaughters, Tashema Evans, Cierra Daniels and Kellie Hairston; stepsons, Raymond Harris and MacArthur Williams; four sisters, Maggie Green, Naomi Taylor, Min. Peggie Siples (Min. Dwight Siples) and Linda Hairston all of Wilson, NC; five brothers, Williams Barnes, Charles Hairston, Tommy Hairston, Norman Hairston (Bessie) and Earl Hairston (Geraldine) all of Wilson, NC; three grandchildren, a special aunt and uncle, Michael and Hazel Ray; 22 nieces, 19 nephews, 30 great nieces, f5 great nephews, 15 great great nieces, a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 pm at Evening Lights Holiness Church 208 S. Pender St, Wilson,. Minister Dwight Siples will officiate. Interment will be held on Tuesday at Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 605 Blount St, Wilson and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
