Travis Marquez Hilliard

Travis Marquez Hilliard age 29 of 716 Crowell St, Wilson, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Marquez spent his formative years in Wilson where he graduated from Ralph L. Fike High School.

After graduating, Travis had various jobs, the last of which was Alliance One. His sweet, giving and caring spirit will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to remember him with love and joy are his mother, Minister Joyce Faye Hilliard Pullen; his children, Tamia Unique Hilliard, Kayla Mahnees Marie Chisum and Travis Iziah Rey'monte Hilliard; his maternal grandmother, Lillie Hilliard; two step children, Jaiquan Deshone King and Kristiani Hamilton; a sister, Akia Rowe Jones (David); his brothers, Reymundo Highsmith, Joseph King, Horane Wallen, Billy Speight, Tony Barnes and Billy Eddie; a goddaughter, Kaniah Ellis; two aunts, Constance Page Barnes and Loretta Ann Hilliard; his uncle, Donald Lee Hilliard; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including the love of life, Christina McMillion and special friends, Walter Exum, Jr., Allen Sherrod, Antonio Evans, Tim Williams, Antoine Jenkins and Lady Latitia Ward.

Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 pm at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle 1800 Lane St Ext Wilson, North Carolina. Bishop Robert L. Gorham will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

A viewing will be held Saturday from 2 pm to 5:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 pm to 9 pm at Wilson Chapel Church 513 East Barnes St, Wilson. They will receive friends other times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
