Mr. Vernon Lee Powell, Jr., age 64, of 3462 Torrington Way, Tallahassee, Florida formerly of Wilson, North Carolina transitioned to eternal rest on Monday, December 16, 2024.  Funeral service will be Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025 at 11 am at Carrons Funeral Home Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery Veterans Section, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be Friday, Jan. 3, 2024 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home.
