Victoria Whitehead McCray, age 89 of Wilson, was called to her eternal rest on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
A Celebration of Her Life and Legacy will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Jackson Chapel First Missionary Baptist Church, 571 East Nash Street, Wilson. The Reverend Dr. Darryl T. Canady will deliver the eulogy and Pastor E. Ray Bynum will preside. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Wilson.
A public viewing and visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 in the Chapel of Carrons Funeral Home. The family will assemble at 9 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2017 at Carrons Funeral Home in preparation for the funeral procession.
Victoria leaves to cherish her loving memories to her husband, Wilford McCray of the home; her daughter, Paulette McCray of the home; one sister, Grace Artis of Detroit, Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
