Funeral service for Warren "Buddy" Wiley age 86 of 1004 Belmont Ave, Wilson who died Friday, July 23 will be held Saturday at 12 noon at New Bethel Holy Church 401 West First Street, Kenly. Evangelist Mamie Woodard will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery (Veterans Section).
Buddy was a veteran of the United States Army. He served our country faithfully during World War II.
Left to cherish his loving memory are his wife, Millie Ann Best Wiley of the home; two daughters, Shirley Jones (James) of Wilson and Arzie Lewis of Goldsboro, NC; one son, David Brown (Ann) of Goldsboro, NC; one sister, Dorothy Poole of Fremont, NC; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 am to 12 noon at New Bethel Church. They will receive friends at all other times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
