Funeral service for Willie Jasper Atkinson age 75 of 3508 Providence Ln, Wilson who died Wednesday at Wilson Medical Center will be held Saturday at 1 PM at St. James Christian Church 1739 Martin Luther King, Jr Blvd, Wilson. Dr. Charles Barnes will be the eulogist and Dr. Leccie Edwards will preside. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
A viewing will be held Friday from 3 PM to 9 PM at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at all times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
