Woodrow Dunn

Woodrow Dunn age 74 of 12148 Jordan St, Bailey passed away on Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Wilson Medical Center. Woodrow was the son of the late Otis and Clara Dunston Dunn.

Woodrow was an employee of the Export Tobacco Company now Alliance One for thirty-nine years.

Left to remember him with love are an adopted beloved niece, Cynthia Gail Dunn Langston (Tommy Lee) of Wilson, NC; his sisters, Emma Lee Hinnant and Hattie Odell Dunn of Bailey, NC, Ruby Dunn-DeBrill of Raleigh, NC, Lillie Dunn-Allen (Richard Earl) of Wilson, NC, Audrell Jones (Charles) and Phyllis Hines of Sims, NC and Nora Woodard of Spring Hope, NC; his brothers, Calvin Best "C.B." Dunston (Dorothy) of Baltimore, MD, Arthur dunn (Ernestine) of Sims, NC , Otha Dunn (Delois) of Norfolk, VA, Harry Dunn of Bailey, NC and Larry Dunn (Evelyn Gail) of Zebulon, NC; a foster sister, Maryland Smith of Wilson, NC; a foster brother, William Brinkley, Jr. (Jake) of Bailey, NC; a special aunt, Ruby Jones of Sims, NC; many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1 pm at Atkins Memorial Tabernacle 6740 Rock Ridge Sims Rd, Sims. The Rev. Paul Davis will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

A viewing will be held Tuesday from 5 pm to 8:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends there from 7 pm to 8 pm. They will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there one hour p;rior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
